After graduation, Brett relocated to Jacksonville, Florida where he began his career in commercial real estate with Chase Properties, Inc. While employed with Chase Properties, Inc., Brett participated in management, brokerage, acquisition, and development of commercial properties. Brett honed his skills in sales and marketing of multi-family communities, upscale retail centers, and other mixed-use commercial properties. In late 2007, Brett began employment as an area property manager for Morgar Realty, Inc. While employed with Morgar Realty, Inc., Brett was responsible for leasing and managing the company's entire commercial real estate portfolio. Additionally, Brett was responsible for overseeing all aspects of property maintenance and operation including, but not limited to, supervision of third-party architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors, developing and monitoring annual operating budgets, and building tenant relations. In 2010, Brett joined Prudential's Commercial Real Estate team and will participate in sales and leasing of all property types, with an emphasis on multi-family communities. Brett's past professional experiences give him the ability to advise a broad base of clients and investors on different real estate opportunities in the local market and beyond.
